Wrestling: Deerpath Middle School wins Mathews Tournament

The Deerpath Middle School wrestling team claimed top honors at Saturday’s Mathews Tournament.
Deerpath claimed eight championships and finished with 233 points.
The champs were Quinn Daily (75 pounds), Andrew Tuttle (80), Caleb Durbin (85), Terk Klavsons (90), Marko Tupanjac (100), Peter Kennedy (105), Keegan Kullby (112) and Will Conover (185).
Three of their wrestlers took runner-up honors: Bridger Gunderson (65), Liam Pooler (95) and Yani Ballis (215).
Maclin Simms placed fourth at 126.
Deerpath will host its own tournament this weekend.
