Deer Path Middle School

The Deer Path Middle School students Gracie Stockton (eighth grade), Benjamin Gray (Director of Choirs at DPM), Matthew LeMay (eighth grade) and Adam Clayton (sixth grade) have been accepted into the American Choral Directors Association National Choir. Over 3600 singers auditioned for these choirs and for the first time Deer Path will be represented. These students will be traveling to Dallas in mid-March to rehearse and eventually perform in front of several thousand choir directors.

Sheridan School’s Winter Sing will be held on Dec. 14 at 9:30 a.m. for Kindergarten, second and fourth grades, and 1:30 p.m. for first and third grades.

Cherokee School

Empty Bowl fundraiser

Cherokee School will hold their Empty Bowls Fundraiser on Dec. 15. This third grade service project is open to all Cherokee third grade families. Family members will be able to purchase a bowl made by students and staff at Cherokee for a $10 donation, and then receive a meal of soup and bread. All donations will be given to a hunger-fighting organization.
