Financial aid seminar
There will be a Junior and Senior Parent/Student Seminar on Financial Aid on Nov. 15 from 7-9 p.m. at Lake Forest High School East Campus. Jerry Cebrzynski, director of financial aid at Lake Forest College, will provide an overview of the financial aid process. All parents are invited. More information can be found at www.lfhs.org.
Comedy performance
LFHS Theater performances of “The Skin of Our Teeth” will be at 7 p.m. Nov. 15-17 featuring a freshman/sophomore cast in the Raymond Moore Auditorium at LFHS East Campus, 1285 N. McKinley Road. Tickets can be purchased on-line at www.lfhs.org.
Thanksgiving break
Thanksgiving break is Nov. 21-23; there is no school for students or staff.
College application deadlines
Because the LFHS Transcript Office will be closed over the holidays, students submitting college applications with a deadline for Jan. 1, 2013, must be in the Office by Dec. 10. A Jan. 15, 2013, application deadline must be filed before 3 p.m. on Dec. 19.
Changes in food service
The online payment service for LFHS Food Services has changed from Nutrikids to mySchoolBucks. Account information remains the same if you have previously registered with myNutrikids and your account has been converted. More info can be found at www.lfhs.org.
Photo contest
The 12th annual Egg Harbor Photography Show and Contest 2012 will run through Thanksgiving weekend at the Lake Forest Egg Harbor in Lake Forest. The community is encouraged to view the amazing digital color photography from the advanced photography students at LFHS. All patrons are invited to vote for their favorites.
