Physicians join hospital group

Three physicians have joined the Northwestern Memorial Physicians Group (NMPG), which recently opened an office on the campus of Northwestern Lake Forest Hospital.

David Vigder is a primary care internist who is board-certified in internal medicine. Vigder specializes in adult medicine and brings more than a dozen years of experience and personalized patient care to the practice.

Also joining the NMPG-Lake Forest practice is primary care internist Rachel Oosterbaan. Oosterbaan relocated from a downtown Chicago NMPG practice. She is a board-certified physician with 13 years of experience, specializing in cancer screening, including breast and colorectal cancer, cardiovascular diseases and travel medicine.

The third physician to join the practice is Susan Shaw, a board-certified gynecologist, practicing for 11 years. Her clinical specialties include pediatric gynecology, adolescent gynecology, menopause and gynecologic surgery.

Rotary Club seeks participants for study exchange

The Lake Forest Lake Bluff Rotary Club joins Rotarians of Northeastern Illinois in seeking outstanding young professional and business men and women to participate as a member of a vocational study program to visit Taiwan for four weeks from March 17 to April 16, 2012.

Applicants for this program must be at least 25 and no more than 40 years of age prior to the departure date. They must work or live within the boundaries of Rotary District 6440, which includes Lake County.
