Sunrise Park forums set in Lake Bluff

LAKE BLUFF — The Lake Bluff Park Board Advisory Committee for Sunrise Park and Beach has planned community forums to continue the assessment of what potential improvements residents would like to see there.

Two forums on short- and mid-term concept improvements for the park and beach will be held at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 8, and at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 1.

A bluff educational forum will be held at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 10. The bluff forum will be repeated later this month or early in December.

Both meetings will be held at the Lake Bluff Recreation Center, 355 W. Washington Ave., Lake Bluff.

“The Sunrise Park and Beach Advisory Committee is committed to gaining more feedback from residents determining the best maintenance guidelines and plan for the bluff,” said Ron Salski, Lake Bluff Park District executive director.

Once community input is gathered, the Advisory Committee will present a report to the Park District Board of Commissioners, Salski said.
