Lake Forest, Lake Bluff set Halloween hours

LAKE BLUFF ­— The Lake Bluff Police Department invites trick-or-treaters to stop by the Public Safety Building, 45 E. Center Ave., during trick-or-treat hours from 4 to 7 p.m. for the annual hotdog roast on Wednesday, Oct. 31. Police Department personnel, with help from their families, will cook hot dogs and serve potato chips and refreshments. Hot dogs are limited.

In Lake Forest, trick-or-treat hours are 4 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 31.

Marie Colette of Lake Bluff has extended her 2012 Costume Crusade collection of new and gently used Halloween costumes through Friday, Oct. 26.

Costume donations for children’s sizes through small adults for older kids in the 2012 Costume Crusade should be dropped off by Friday, Oct. 26, at the two Griffith, Grant & Lackie locations at 678 N. Western Ave., Lake Forest, and at 8 E. Scranton Ave., Lake Bluff.
