LAKE BLUFF — Recently named the fourth happiest coastal town by Coastal Living magazine, Lake Bluff will become the “Happiest Ghostal Community” when the Lake Bluff History Museum’s ghost walk returns to downtown Lake Bluff Saturday and Sunday, Oct. 27-28.

The walk has drawn close to 1,000 visitors since it began in 1997. The downtown walking tour features a cast of local residents, civic leaders, merchants and school and village staff who bring the darker side of Lake Bluff’s past to life.

Tours will depart every 15 minutes from the Lake Bluff History Museum, 127 Scranton Ave., Lake Bluff, from 6 to 9 p.m. on Saturday and 5 to 8 p.m. on Sunday.

Tickets must be purchased for a specific time slot and advance purchase is recommended. The cost is $25 for adults and $10 for children in eighth grade and younger.
