Lake Bluff Beach clean-up scheduled

LAKE BLUFF — A clean-up is planned at the Lake Bluff Beach on Lake Michigan between 9 a.m. and noon Saturday, Sept. 15.
Volunteers will meet at the south shelter, said Bill Hermann, a Lake Bluff resident who is coordinating the local effort.
The cleanup is part of the Alliance for the Great Lakes Adopt A Beach Program.

Volunteers will remove litter and collect information on beach health, which is used in pollution prevention education and to make positive changes for Great Lakes beaches.
