Hearings postponed for Forest Park
The Forest Park Master Plan public hearings scheduled for February have been postponed until March, the city of Lake Forest announced.
The change was made to “allow time to complete the master plan documents taking into consideration recent feedback received and ongoing work,” according to a press release issued by the city.
The Forest Park Project Board requested the postponement.
The Park and Recreation Board is tentatively scheduled to meet at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, March 20 in City Hall, 220 E. Deerpath, Lake Forest, to address the Forest Park Master Plan.
A review by the Historic Preservation Commission is tentatively scheduled at its regular meeting at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, March 21 in City Hall.
The March meetings are intended to provide opportunities for the Forest Park Project Board to present the master plan to the community and provide additional opportunities for resident and board feedback, according to officials.
