Two hundred guests gathered at the Highland Park Country Club to take part in the annual Feed the Dream golf fundraiser.
The Ladies 9-Hole Golf Scramble and Luncheon raised $125,000. Funds go directly to assist women and children with their basic nutritional and survival needs in remote villages throughout Guatemala.
Feed the Dream works in partnership with the local people to improve their health through nutrition. Guatemala is ranked by UNICEF as the fourth most malnourished country in the world.
Founder Sandy Neville Haggart and her husband Gil have lived in Glenview for 46 years.
