Citadel Theatre offers the romantic comedy Sirens in its Chicago-area debut. The Artists on the Bluff will share its gallery with the young students of the Equestrian Connection, a facility devoted to therapy and providing activities for special needs students in the area. These special needs students have produced art work with the help of their teacher, Julie Ludwick. Winter Reading Club: Earn yourself a reading badge this winter. Grades three to eight can earn their badge by reading only five books on a theme. Grades one-two can earn their badges by reading only ten books. The program is designed for independent readers in grades one through eight and runs Oct. 1-May 5.
Drop-In Holiday Crafts for children through eighth grade until Christmas - Drop in and make a different craft each week. Crafts will be available each week while supplies last. We will have all the materials you will need to make an ornament, a special gift for a family member and a household decoration. Preschoolers will need a caregiver’s assistance.

Chicago Bears Youth Football Camps will return this summer to more than 28 locations, including a camp in Lake Forest at the Deerpath Middle School, with former Chicago Bears like Robin Earl, Allan Ellis, Kris Haines, Al Harris, Jim Morrissey and Mickey Pruitt providing support and non-contact instruction to kids from ages 6 to 14 years old. Kids learn to run, throw, catch, defend and compete the Bears way. All programs provide football non-contact instruction, athletic skill development, fitness and agility training.
