Three unlocked cars in Lake Forest were entered overnight with a Kindle tablet and approximately $25 in coins stolen. The missing items were taken from a car parked in the driveway of a home in the 700 block of Falls Circle, police were notified at 6:26 a.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 6.

Vandals cause $50K in damage at Lake Forest’s Winter Club
Lake Forest police are looking for anyone with information about overnight vandalism that closed the Winter Club Friday, Aug. 1, and resulted in more than $50,000 in damage. Windows and doors were broken, sinks intentionally flooded and numerous items broken or destroyed sometime between 8 p.m. on Thursday, July 31, and 7 a.m. on Friday, Aug. 1, police said.
