Lake Forest Civic Orchestra performs with Christopher Ramaekers on podium

Chris Ramaekers will be the guest conductor for the Lake Forest Civic Orchestra on September 28. According to the following release:

The Lake Forest Civic Orchestra is pleased to have guest conductor Chris Ramaekers on the podium for its September 28 concert in Lake Forest. The concert will be held in the Gorton Community Center auditorium at 4 pm.

Ramaekers is one of four guest conductors for the orchestra’s 2014-2015 season. He is Director of Orchestras and Assistant Professor at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater. The LFCO will chose one of its guest conductors at the end of the season to be its new music director.

The September concert is entitled “Fanfare and Intrigue” and includes the works of Haydn, Bizet and Rossini. Tickets are available both at the door and online by visiting our website at lakeforestcivicorchestra.org.
