Alice in Wonderland at the Gorton Community Center

The Gorton Community Center in Lake Forest will host the Performing Arts Summer Theater Academy’s production of Alice in Wonderland the weekend of July 12th.  According to the following press release.

The Gorton Community Center and
 the Performing Arts Summer Theater Academy
present Alice in Wonderland on Saturday, July 12, 2014 at 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. and Sunday July 13, 2014 at 10 a.m. and 1 p.m.

Alice in Wonderland is based on the Lewis Carroll books and the Walt Disney animated movie with all the famous characters and songs.

Fifty-three young actors will bring to life on stage the many characters from Alice in
Wonderland including Queen of Hearts, the White Rabbit, the Mad Hatter, Tweedle Dum and Tweedle Dee, the Cheshire Cat and, of course, Alice!

Tickets will also be available at the door.
Alice in Wonderland is directed by Golden Apple Award-winning teacher Tom Beck. Musical direction is by Elaine Ellis. Costumes are designed by Sue R. Beck and choreography by Lucy Warwick.
