Parade, carnival captivate thousands in Lake Forest

LAKE FOREST -- The 104th annual Lake Forest Day Parade drew scores of participants, and thousands watched the parade meander from Western Avenue to West Park on the morning of Aug. 1.
The theme of the parade was “Lake Forest Salutes Vietnam Veterans.” The carnival at West Park was popular among children and teens Tuesday night and throughout Wednesday.
